Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Science is one of iGMAS center of China.

Shanghai Astronomical Observatory has long been engaged in the research and application of time-frequency system, high-precision hydrogen atom clock, laser ranging, satellite orbit determination, EOP measurement and forecasting, navigation satellite data processing analysis, and so on. The accumulation of research and rich engineering experience.Shanghai Astronomical Observatory established China's first IGS station, the establishment of China's first regional GPS integrated application service network. Shanghai Astronomical Observatory has a wealth of knowledge accumulated in the construction, operation and comprehensive application of satellite navigation system. It has a profound understanding and richness in the construction, operation, development and existing problems of satellite navigation system, also has a wealth of practical experience.

Shanghai Astronomical Observatory has long tracked on the measured data of BD, and has rich experience in the analysis of BD data. Shanghai Astronomical Observatory also is the main participant of the National Large-scale Scientific Engineering "Crustal Movement Observation Network of China", and established VLBI, SLR, GNSS, ionospheric and water vapor monitoring data processing center.As the Shanghai GPS integrated application network construction of the lead unit and data processing center, with a wealth of GNSS regional network construction, comprehensive application and data long-term continuous automatic processing of engineering experience.

Using the global IGS station, Crustal Movement Observation Network of China and the Yangtze River Delta GPS Integrated Application Network for many years of observational data, the Observatory in GPS data processing analysis, global / regional crustal motion monitoring, ionospheric delay model establishment, ionospheric anomaly monitoring analysis, and tropospheric delay (GPS / VLBI / SLR) station coordinates and EOP monitoring, comparison and analysis of a large number of research work, and achieved remarkable results. These studies and accumulations have laid a solid foundation for the establishment of the iGMAS Analysis Center at the Shanghai Observatory.
